6th Annual UHCCF Florida Fishing Tournament

EVENT POSTPONED

The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation regrets to inform you the 6th Annual Florida Fishing Tournament, hosted by Teleperformance has been postponed due to Hurricane Ian and the severe damage sustained in Ft. Myers and surrounding areas. At the request of local officials, we cannot, in good conscious, encourage travel into the area at this time. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the storm and we appreciate your understanding.

UHCCF will work to select a new event date in the near future. Please watch for an email and updates on the event site for the new date and details. If you determine that you are unable to attend on the new date, we will work with you regarding your registration.

Join us on Wednesday, October 5th, for the Captain's Dinner with delicious food and beverage. Then explore the beautiful gulf waters of Florida on Thursday, October 6, 2022, with your world-class fishing guide in pursuit of snook, redfish, and trout.

New this year! Check out the captain's bios and bid high to secure the captain who will help you reel in the biggest catch. Bid early and bid often as competition is fierce. Bidding will close promptly at 7:00 pm local time on Wednesday, October 5th.

The UHCCF Mission Ride is back after a two-year hiatus, and we are so excited to welcome you with big Texan hospitality. Take a ride through history as we hit the scenic greenways that run alongside Spanish Missions and the beautiful San Antonio River. This is not a race, but a ride, so take in the scenery and stop to take pictures. Best of all, your participation helps UHCCF provide medical grants to kids in the central region. Get your bike tuned up, recruit others, form a team, and fundraise in support of the 2022 UHCCF Mission Ride!

Back by popular demand, Oliver Bears that Bring Hope are once again featured in the auction. These custom-themed jumbo Oliver bears have been 'adopted' by UnitedHealth Group leaders, teams, and other UHCCF supporters. This year, in addition to packages that include a 48-inch jumbo Oliver Bear, we will have packages that include a 10-inch Oliver Bear. Each bear features its own custom theme and package. Each bear features its own custom theme, matching gear, and other exciting gifts. A few of the custom-themed jumbo Oliver bears include Barista Oliver, Minneapolis Sound Oliver Bear, Minnesota Wild Oliver, and many more!

Send Smiles to Children in Hospitals this Holiday Season! Dates: 11/01-11/30/2022 At UHCCF, donating gifts is always twice as nice. Just purchase any of our UHCCF items with the Grins2 option listed and donate them to one of our participating children’s hospitals across the country. These gifts bring joy to not just ONE but TWO children! While one child in a hospital receives a healthy dose of laughter and inspiration from the Grins2 gift, these contributions also help a second child receive the medical treatment they need through a UHCCF medical grant. This Holiday Season, you can help the UHCCF team continue to deliver a dose of smiles. You can purchase any UHCCF product and have it delivered to one of the participating organizations as part of the Grins2 program. It’s the easiest way to make two kids feel great when they need it most.

7th Annual UHCCF Frosty Fat Tire Festival

Bundle up and come experience a fun-filled wintry day riding fat tire bikes in the snow or cheering on riders while supporting a great cause. Join fellow riders and friends for the 7th Annual UHCCF Frosty Fat Tire Festival at Camp Fire on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

9:30 a.m. - Check-In Opens
10:30 a.m. - Ride Launch ​

Ride a groomed circuit around the scenic grounds of Camp Fire (formerly Camp Tanadoona) as many times as you can to raise money to fund UHCCF medical grants for children in need. Want to ride but don’t own your own fat tire bike? No worries, we will have a limited number of bikes on site so register early as availability is on a “first come first served” basis.

Located on the shores of Lake Minnewashta in Excelsior, MN, for the 7th Annual Frosty Fat Tire Winter Festival, Camp Fire boasts fantastic outdoor amenities such as covered dining pavilions, an outdoor fireplace, newly developed/modern event, and indoor banquet facilities, and grounds for an amazing bike course. Since Camp Fire encompasses 103 acres, this provides an ideal setting for plenty of room to social distance but yet still have a fantastic experience with friends and family.​

The event includes:

  • Chili lunch buffet
  • Frosty Fat pom or skull hat for completing five or more lap
  • Frosty Fat swag
  • Outdoor patio with fireplace
  • Complimentary guest
  • Indoor and outdoor bars featuring Bloody Mary's and Hot Toddy's
  • Opportunity to meet a UHCCF grant recipient family
  • Bucket raffle and bingo
  • Prizes for riders completing the most laps and top fundraiser
  • Complimentary fat tire bikes available for use*

Planning on coming with a group of friends? The option to bike share is available. While a friend is riding the bike, you can cheer them on, warm up at a warming station, or grab a drink. Please note: if you’re planning on coming solo and would still like to bike share, you will be paired up with other solo riders willing to share.

Please note there is a $50 non-refundable fee to register for this event. This registration fee will apply towards your minimum fundraising goal of $500 which must be raised by Thursday, February 2, 2023. Planning to bring your own cheering squad? Each additional guest is $50, they simply register on this site to secure their spot.
