Steppin’ up for Kids

May 6, 2019 - June 16, 2019

Steppin’ Up for Kids is UHCCF’s 2nd annual virtual walk that allows you to walk anytime or anywhere from May 1st – June 15th. We are challenging each participant to walk 20,000 steps (or more!) by June 15th to support UHCCF and its goal to award 20,000 grants by 2020.

Sign up as an individual, family or team to participate and/or fundraise for UHCCF and make a difference for children in your region,  proceeds you raise will stay in your region.

Helping Kids. Changing Lives.

The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related service not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health insurance plan.

Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), and do not need to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible.

UHCCF was founded in 1999. Since 2007, UHCCF has awarded 15,000 grants valued at $40M to children and their families across the United States. UHCCF’s funding is provided by contributions from individuals, corporations and UnitedHealth Group employees.
