Jackson loves the great outdoors. Whether exploring nature or playing with his favorite toys, he’s a boy on the move. And while that was a major struggle early on, these days he’s making great strides. Literally.
Diagnosed with spinal cord neuroblastoma Jackson’s condition caused decreased sensory and motor function in his lower extremities. But with the help of his UHCCF grant, he received intensive therapy and is now out of his wheelchair and walking with his walker – soon just a cane! In the winter months, you’ll find Jackson on the ice playing his favorite sport, sled hockey.
