Grant Recipient Cole Johnson - Home Run for Life

July 14, 2014
Grant Recipient Cole Johnson's "Home Run for Life”

Like a lot of young kids, Cole Johnson has big league dreams. But after being diagnosed with delayed speech at a young age, which has impacted him socially, psychologically and behaviorally, he’s had to endure a whole new set of challenges to battle on life’s playing field. With the help of a medical grant from UHCCF to help with speech therapy, Cole is now making excellent progress. And, recently, he was given the opportunity to line up at home plate with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Watch what happens and cheer along with Cole as he swings for the fences.
